How Hot is Too Hot

The good thing about renting: we have air conditioning. The bad thing about renting: we have air conditioning. I really can't tell if the thing is working or not. And to be honest with you, I don't want to call administration until I know I'm going to be home and during the day.

I know that air conditioning is considered an emergency. I just don't like to open the door at night unless it is extremely necessary. It's not that I am afraid of robbers or anything like that. I am afraid of bugs, big ones. And I don't have a man here to kill them, so I would rather not give them the chance to get in.

The other thing is that I have to make sure we are here because I don't want the dog to run out the door. So for now, I'm a little warm. I'm not sweating bullets. I am pretty sure that the apartment is not supposed to be on 82 degrees when I've had the thermostat on 71 most of the day. Maybe it is the Florida heat. Somehow, I doubt it.

Let me read your comments below.
